1 of the 3 projects in the ACT Series
ACT+
The ACT Series is a trilogy of Erasmus+ projects developed by Associação Nó Górdio (Portugal), under the 2025-1-PT02-KA151-YOU-000297099 project big umbrella. Each project addresses one of Europe's core challenges — education, sustainability, and solidarity — through youth participation, intercultural learning, and community impact. Together, they form a journey: from learning (ACT+), to transforming habits (ACT NOW), to changing the world (ACT TOGETHER).

Description of the Project
ACT+ is a professional development initiative for youth workers that equips them with creative tools and artistic methodologies to promote inclusion and diversity. Developed by a youth worker and an arts teacher experienced in working with young people with special needs, the project is based on the belief that art can break social and cultural barriers, strengthen communication, and encourage active participation.
Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with manual arts, ACT+ helps youth workers better engage diverse groups, including young people with disabilities, migrants, and those at risk of exclusion. By integrating artistic expression into youth work, the program supports the creation of inclusive environments where all young people feel valued, empowered, and actively involved.
